Honda has decided the 2014 Civic Coupe is so cool, it might as well show it at a tuning show, and so they brought it to this year's edition of the SEMA Show.
SEMA is only a preview of the car, which will fully revealed and detailed (including pricing) at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show on the 22nd of the month. But that's all about reversing camera and $100 pricing increases. The only thing we care about is the look, and this thing has them.
In a world where coupes aren't really that cool, paying $18,000 for a Honda suddenly sounds very appealing. The 2014 model year Civic Coupe has strong side air intakes, a gaping grille and a connecting gloss black trim which reminds us of the next Fit subcompact.
A restyled rear bumper with reflector cut-outs and new rear light graphics complete the exterior transformation.
Honda also announced that the 2014 Si model has gained 4 hp and 4 lb-ft, thanks to a sports exhaust. This lifts the US-spec 2.4-liter engine's output to 205 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque (237 Nm).
