When it comes to high-performance US-built cars, Hennessey Performance takes things very seriously. So it’s no surprise that once the 2014 Corvette Stingray was unveiled in Detroit, the Texas-based specialist announced plans to develop several beefed-up versions.
And while the C7 Corvette has yet to arrive in showrooms, Hennessey has already released preliminary info on its brand-new upgrades for the highly-anticipated sportscar. The company has prepared four packages for the Stingray with power ranging from 600 HP and 1,100 HP. The first two supercharged upgrades, HPE600 and HPE700, which deliver 600 HP and 700 HP respectively, will cost $12,495 and $18,450 each. The twin-turbo packages, HPE800 and HPE1000, good for 800 HP and 1,100 HP will fetch $54,950 and $67,950.

While HPE600 and HPE700 will come with a 3 year/36,000-mile warranty, the more powerful HPE800 and HPE1,100 upgrades will be fitted with only a 1 year/12,000-mile warranty.

Further details have yet to be revealed, but John Hennessey told Autoblog that customers should expect the Hennessey C7 to be on par “or possibly a bit quicker” when compared to the company’s C6 Grand Sport. Deliveries will commence by the end of the year.
