AIMExpo 2013 was the place where Suzuki decided to show the second Special Edition machine in their 2014 line-up. This time is the all-time favorite Hayabusa in a special livery to celebrate half a century of bike making for the Hamamatsu manufacturer.
The anniversary GSX1300R brings a bold and utterly seductive Candy Daring Red and Glass Sparkle Black combination with a blurred transition between the two, and the "border" following the main visual angle of the bike.

Matching red stripes adorn the cast 3-spoke wheels for more optical coherence. As for the rest, the special edition Busa proudly displays its rounded, organic fairings, a dire matter of instant love or hate among bikers.

Underneath the sparkly colors, the 2014 Hayabusa 50th Anniversary Edition hides an 1340cc in-line 4, with 173 HP available and 104 ft-lbs (141 Nm) of torque ready to take on the highway racers. He factory set a limiter at 186 mph (299 km/h), but the Busa can do more if tampered with.

Brembo brakes with ABS, 3-mode engine maps and a 586 lbs (266 kg) curb weight are official data, but no price has been announced yet.
