Welcome into the world of big-bore machines, here's the 2014 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom, a bike boasting custom looks in the Vein of the Iron 883, but breathing out a much more powerful character.
2014 brings a lot of changes to the Sportster series, and the Sportster 1200 Custom makes no exception. The bike is equipped with a completely new, upgraded braking system including bigger rotors, new calipers and lines and updated brake fluid reservoirs. ABS is offered as an option.
The new Sportster 1200 Custom comes with classy laced rims, and a beautiful contrasting match of darkened matte-paint parts and chromed accents. Two special Limited Editions bikes are also available, versions A and B.
Custom A displays rich North American Stock Car Racing graphics and cast 5-spoke wheels, while Custom B is bent over to the dark side, offering a sober display of Black Denim paint for engine, body parts and wheels.
At the heart of the 2014 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom beats an 1,202cc injected and air-cooled Evolution powerplant mated to a 5-speed gearbox delivering up to 96 Nm (71 lb-ft) of torque to the rear wheel by means of a chain final drive.
The 2014 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom arrives in 6 colors plus the CA and CB limited edition runs and comes with a two-up seat and the new gauge with gear indicator as standard. Price list remains unknown.
