The 2014 GMC Sierra Denali, GM's most luxurious pickup truck, was revealed today. Set to go on sale this fall, the new Denali promises to be the most powerful light duty truck thanks to its 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 that will produce an estimated 420 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.
The new mill, which will also be offered on the Sierra SLT models, is expected to have a class-leading maximum trailering capacity of 12,000. However, the 2014 Denali will come with a 5.3-liter V8 as standard, which means 355 hp and an improved EPA-estimated fuel economy of 23 mpg highway on 2WD models.

Exclusive exterior features include a signature Denali chrome grille, 20-inch chrome wheels, stainless steel exhaust, specific interior decorative trim and aluminum trim. Projector-style headlamps with LED daytime running lights, a Bose audio system, heated and cooled leather front bucket seats and front/rear park assist are also to be had as standard equipment.

"The 2014 Sierra Denali has a combination of performance, capability and luxury that no other pickup can match," said Tony DiSalle, vice president of GMC Marketing. "It leaves no boxes unchecked for those owners looking for the ultimate expression of 'Professional Grade.'"

The 2014 Denali will also be sold with two option packages, including the Z71 Off-Road Package. Other options include a sunroof and Rear Seat Entertainment.
