Ford has launched the online configurator for the US-market 2014 Transit Connect van, which will go on sale in two body styles (passenger, commercial) starting early next year.
Available from $22,000, the Transit Connect XL van is offered in two model trims - XL and XLT - both if which can be ordered with either the 1.6-liter EcoBoost or the 2.5-liter DOHC engine. A CrewChief package can be added for $925, while exterior options include features such as 180 degree rear symmetrical cargo doors, adaptive cornering fog lamps and forward/reverse sensing systems.
Moving over to the Wagon (passenger) version, it can be had in three trim levels, same two engines as the van and can be equipped with either five or seven seats. The Wagon starts at $24,525 for the XLT model, but a Titanium version will take the sticker into $29,000 territory. Add a couple of options like the panoramic roof and parking sensors and you can fly past the $32,000 mark.
