Ford Racing has just announced details and pricing for the 2014 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet. The last NHRA Stock and Super Stock vehicle based on the current generation pony comes with new updates, a couple of custom colors and the "best value in the market".
Powered by the same 5.0-liter TiVCT engine paired with a Whipple 2.9-liter supercharger, the 2014 Cobra Jet gained a new three-speed race transmission with SFI approved housing and a new parachute mount (for speeds exceeding 150 mph).

Ford also added two new custom colors for the 2014 racing rendition of the Mustang, which can now be ordered in "Gotta Have It Green" and a Cobra Jet-exclusive "Flat Black". Built in a limited edition of just 50 units, with production scheduled to start July 2013, the 2014 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet will fetch $97,990 without optional paints and graphics.

Availability is first-come, first-serve, so be sure to hurry if you're looking to tackle the dragstrips in one of these high-performance Mustangs.
