Ford Racing Parts has announced that they are now taking orders for the race-prepped 2014 Mustang Boss 302S. The SCCA and NASA classes eligible factory-built race car comes with minor modifications for the 2014 model year, which will be the last to see a Boss 302S being produced before the next-gen Mustang kicks in.
The updated competition pony comes with two new colors, Grabber Blue and Satin Black, the latter available for $5,995, and a BBS wheel package, seam welding and an XL Recaro seat as options. Available from $89,995, the 2014 Mustang Boss 302S will be built in only 50 examples starting fourth quarter. The vehicle will sport the same race ready 5.0-liter V8 Boss engine under the bonnet, with engine oil cooler, serialized intake badge, a Boss 302 fuel system and an upgraded cooling system.

Since its reintroduction in 2011, the Boss 302S has won the World Challenge GTS Manufacturers Championship, the World Challenge GTS Driver Championship, the World Challenge GTS Team Championship, and the NASA American Iron Championship. In addition, the Boss 302S tied the record set in 1970 for race wins by the same Mustang driver in a professional production based series at 5 victories (2011).
