2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid Super Bowl Ad: “Nearly Double”

The 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid has nearly double the fuel economy of the average vehicle. And that’s it. That’s what Ford’s new Super Bowl commercial and #NearlyDouble campaign is all about.

Some of you we’re probably expecting something different, but these commercials are as good as it gets. As long as you don’t mind the car and focus on the concept. The Fusion Hybrid returns an estimated 47 mpg, while “actual mileage will vary”. This means it’s somewhat nearly double depending on how you drive it.

Being picky will ruin the experience, so it’s better to sit back and watch the commercials. Although you will notice that James Franco’s lion is more than double the size of Rob Riggle’s dog. Guess blowing dandelions while hanging out a window must count as nearly double something...
