As expected, the redesign of the car changes the front end in significant ways. The whole front bumper is replaced by a newer one, housing a chromed grille in a hexagonal shape, placed between the headlights. There also a subtle lower grille, flanked by fog lights which have also been redesigned. A black plastic sub-plate chin is added at the bottom of the bumper, a much more elegant design than the old one, which used to protrude out, giving the car a fake sportscar look.

Round the back, changes are limited to the taillights graphics, just like they were with the Fiesta facelift. However, changes made to the interior are visible and appear to involve a more ergonomically display in place of that tricky to use cellphone layout with numbers arrange in a square.

The dials are blue/teal, just like on the Fiesta. The presence of an automatic stick would indicate the Getrag-developed six-speed, double-clutch PowerShift gearbox is available.
