Ever wished your family estate could get the same grille as an Aston Martin? Well soon you will be able to buy the significantly updated Focus Touring, which we think is a looker.
These are the first photos of the car, leaked ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut. Most of the exterior styling is unchanged, but the front bumper, headlights, taillights and wheels are tweaked.
What really strikes me about the photos is the apparently low trim level of the car. Press photos usually show full-spec cars with all the bells and whistles, but this obviously isn’t that. The indicates in the side mirrors appear to be regular bulbs, as are the fog lights and headlights. The Touring doesn’t shows any parking sensors or that park assist feature which made the Focus popular.
The more obvious changes are inside the Focus Touring’s spacious cabin. The steering wheel is similar to the old one but has different spokes and button. A refreshed display for the trip computer is also available with the 2014 model.
Focusing on the Focus’ (bad joke, we know) center column, we can see the hand brake has been moved from its usual place to the shifter’s left into a location beside the seat. In its place, Ford has more conveniently placed button for driver aids.
