2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Hits the Snow

With 411 horsepower under the hood that enable it to tow 8,000 pounds, the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is one of the most capable pickup trucks you can buy nowadays. You can always go full throttle with a Shelby or a Hennessey version, but the factory-built Raptor somehow feels more natural in the wild.

We have yet to take the 2014 Raptor out for a test drive, but the folks over at TFL Truck are already in the middle of long term with Ford’s high performance vehicle and it looks like they’re having a lot fun. Earlier this week, they’ve taken it to Colorado and played with it in the snow, showcasing the Raptor’s capabilities on rough and icy terrain.

Everything was filmed with a high speed camera, which means loads of spectacular scenes, mostly with the truck plowing snow on narrow mountain roads. Just scroll below to enjoy the five-minute video.
