In 2011, Ford launched a brand new Ranger (the T6). It was unveiled at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney and comes with its own Ford architecture. Produced in South Africa, Argentina and Thailand, it's available in 180 market, including parts of Europe.

These renderings created by Theophilus Chin show a reliable workhorse that could be powered by either a 2.5L Duratec (L5-VE) petrol engine or a 2.2L Duratorq TDCi diesel. It could be available with both 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains as well as a choice between two manual and one automatic gearbox.
