2014 Ferrari LaFerrari For Sale at $3.8 Million Is What Some May Call a Bargain

When Ferrari introduced the LaFerrari back at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, all the 499 examples of the halo car were sold out. And while that wasn't exactly a surprise for connoisseurs, we can say the same about the overinflated prices on the used LaF market.

As such, the Nero (that's Italian for Black) gas-electric Ferrari that's currently up for grabs in Texas could seem a bargain to some, despite its $3,799,995 price tag.

For the record, the price of the hypercar makes for quite a premium over the $1.35 million Ferrari asked for the machine when it was new. However, our most recent memory regarding a LaF being ready to trade hands saw the machine being offered in Florida for $4.7 million. So yes, we could say the example we have here is a bargain - just think of all the cars you could buy with the difference between the two.

The dark example of the LaFerrari, which does come with an interior that mixes Black with Red leather, is currently waiting patiently on the lot of Ferrari Houston.

The dealer, which explains it also sold the car to its first owner, even offers a financing option, starting from a generous $37,061 per month (think: an extremely well gifted V8-powered Mustang each month).

We're dealing with a 2014 model year, but don't let the time frame scare you - apparently, the man who bought this halo car aimed to make easy money, so the guy only put 1,440 miles on the machine.

"Delivered new by Ferrari of Houston, this Ferrari LaFerrari is now available for sale from our dealership to a new owner. This LaFerrari arrives with all manuals, keys, charging equipment, and Ferrari Classiche book for the new owner," the dealer explains.

However, if you happen to be in the market for a HHHT (Holy Hybrid Hypercar Trinity) member, you might also want to check out the Aperta open-top version of the LaFerrari. Sure, Ferrari is only building 150 units of the Aperta, which is set to debut by the end of the week at the Paris Motor Show, but you can probably find a way to make one yours.
