Chevrolet will begin production of the much-anticipated 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe with a Premier Edition model built in just 500 examples, the automaker revealed today.
The vehicle will be unwrapped at a launch party at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, but Chevrolet has already revealed what the Premier Edition will bring to its future customer.
The top-of-the-line 3LT models will arrive with in Laguna Blue Tintcoat exterior and Brownstone suede interior, while the cabin will also gain suede-wrapped trim and carbon-fiber packages. Chevy is also throwing in the Z51 performance package, its latest Magnetic Selective Ride Control system and several unique accessories, including "stinger" hood stripe, "Stingray"-logo interior sill plates and wheel caps, and custom Corvette-branded luggage from Thule.
Being a limited edition, the 2014 Corvette Premier Edition will also have a unique identification number, starting with 300001, and an exclusive dashboard plaque.
