Revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show back in January, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray still hasn't been properly unveiled, with several specs left to be announced.
However, thanks to the Corvette7 forum, we were able to find out the final horsepower and torque specs that will be moving American's most awaited sportscar. According to our source, who also provided some PDF scans, the Stingray will boast 455 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, 5 hp and 10 lb-ft of torque more than the initial GM estimates.
This also means that the new 6.2-liter LT1 V8 will have 25 hp and 36 lb-ft of torque over the sixth-generation Corvette. The aforementioned forum also revealed that the Stingray Convertible will have 450 HP and 450 lb-ft of torque under its bonnet.
Official fuel economy numbers are still a mystery, and we're very anxious to find out more about Chevrolet's promised improvement over the current 26 miles per gallon highway rating. Also, max cargo room is subjected to a future announcement as well. Until then, check out the PDF sheets in our photo gallery section below.
