Let's just start this story out by saying if you have kids, don't buy the 2014 Corvette in yellow, because your kids will say you've got a Pikachu.
Jake Fisker, director of auto tests at Consumer reports got his hands on a brand new 2014 Corvette Stingray coupe with a removable top and did a very short video review about it. The car could be a pre-production model, which could mean it's that little bit better built.

People are going to complain that the rear lights are too modern and the technology is too complicated all the way to the bank, because the Vette is going to sell.

The C7 was revealed back in January at the Detroit Auto Show. The coupe is rated at 460 horsepower and track tested for 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. But it will also do 29 highway miles per gallon thanks to the first cylinder deactivation tech in a Corvette.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
