As always, the SEMA show has brought us all sorts of creations that made us drool, but what we’re really interested about are the more down-to-earth tech developments. Well, Edelbrock Performance seems to have just this kind of things for us, its E-Force Supercharger for the C7 Corvette and the Silverado.
Edelbrock’s blower for the LT1 is still a work in progress project, as the engine itself is still a very new development. The LT1 and EcoTec3 motors have similar design, so they get the kit with the same intake manifold housing design, but each engine receives dedicated runners, as well as a unique appearance.
No official figures have been released yet, but, based on previous Edelbrock developments of this kind, we could expect a 150 HP
bump. What’s more, the company could be working at a kit with even more muscle for the future.
On the 2014 Corvette Stigray, the E-Force Supercharger means you can keep you car’s stock look, as the system fits under the OEM hood. While the focus here is on the overall performance boost, the torque curve optimization was the main goal for the Silverado.
Edelbrock’s E-Force Supercharger for the C7 Corvette and the Silverado are expected to arrive in Spring next year.
