When you've got a movie filled with animated characters created on a computer, it's comforting to know somebody with acting talent is behind it as well.
But that wasn't enough for director Michael Bay, who's brought the sort of cars we like to see to the film set. Pictures have surfaced online that show two new Autobots in their car forms.
One is a very rare and expensive Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse, seen here in a two-tone blue and brown color. The special edition offers a re-tuned W16 quad-turbo engine whack has been tweaked to produce 1,200 hp and a peak torque of 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft).
The bright green Corvette is, of course, the new C7 Stingray for the 2014 model year. Compared to the $2.4 million Bugatti, its $50,000 price tag seems unimportant, but this Autobot wins big hero points with America.
We also have photos of a completely new Optimus Prime, supposedly a Western Star truck in the traditional colors of the Autobot leader, but featuring a streamlined design.
