Two months after being showcased fully camouflaged at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R was rendered without its checkered black & white wrap.
Now sporting the black and yellow livery of the Corvette Racing Team, the race car reveals some of the details we already spotted under its cover earlier this year, such as a new front splitter, a track-prepped ventilated hood and a rear wing.
Unfortunately, there’s no info what will be powering these Pratt & Miller-built race cars, but its should get an upgraded version of the 5.5-liter V8 that was fitted in the C6.R. The 2014 Corvette C7.R will make its official track debut at the 24 Hours of Daytona next January.
