While both 4- and 2-stroke engines have gone a long way, there still are some who claim that it's the 2-stroke world we have to look into when searching for the ultimate off-road machine. So in this case, could the 2014 Christini AWD 300 be the holy grail of off-road motorcycling?
The bike is powered by a 300cc liquid-cooled GasGas square (72x72mm) single fed through a 38mm Keihin PKW carburetor and mated to a cascade wide ratio 6-speed main transmission, and a 0.64:1 front drive.
The AWD system can be easily engaged with a press of a button so benefiting from the added grip is effortless and intuitive. Suspensions are premium, as well: 48mm Marzocchi Progressive Floating Piston forks and Fox Podium RC2 Shock with Dual Speed Compression in the rear, both with multiple adjustable settings.
21-18" wheels and knobby tires are ready for when the going gets tough, alongside a heavy-duty Magura hydraulic clutch, a full FMF exhaust and more features which will put a big smile on the faces of off-road enthusiasts.
