2014 Chevy Silverado Rolling Through Detroit on a Train

Like any congested city, Detroit isn’t exactly going to be filled with pickup drivers in the middle of the day. What it will be filled with this month is automotive journalists from across American and the globe (us included), who will have to make due with public transport in some cases.

The Detroit People Mover tram will be taken on the appearance of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado during the 2013 North American International Auto Show. As you can see, the pickup is being displayed in full scale on the side of the train for all to idolize its horse box towing capacity.

Meanwhile, the People Mover station in the General Motors headquarters at the Renaissance Center features images showcasing the Silverado’s interior and exterior design features.

autoevolution will be attending the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
