Every time a new gene ration of pickup truck, the bar is raised in terms of towing capacity, brute power and especially grille size. The 2014 Chevy Silverado is no exception to this rule, a rugged pickup with a grille the size a Texan's barbecue.
The 2014 model year Silverado 1500 made its full-sized debut this year at the 2013 North American International Motor Show in Detroit.

Welcome to the official microsite that has just been launched on chevrolet.com. Pickups are the core of America and of Chevrolet as a brand. As the market is recovering, they believe that this is just the right time to launch their best ever pickup, with an advanced chassis and improved engine technology for better efficiency.

Unfortunately, the builder doesn't offer any pricing information, so we'll still have to wait for this fall to learn more.

If you'd like to know even more about the 2014 Silverado, make sure to check out our live coverage from the Detroit Show floor.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
