2014 Chevy C7 Corvette Teaser 4: Creation

The new Corvette is undoubtedly going to be the star of the show at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show. Eight cylinders and sixteen valves have never counted for so much in the American sportscar industry. A whole factory has been put on hold, it employees ready to pounce at a moments notice onto the assembly line to put the car into production.
That will only be possible once we the car on January 13th, 2013. Chevrolet has released yet another video detailing how the C7 was created. The video is more artistic than revealing. We get catch short glimpses of the floor pan as well as the engine and transmission sub-assembly going into the car.

The C7 promises to be a stiffer, lighter and more powerful car than the C7. Its small block V8 engine pill deliver about 450 horsepower for a 0 to 60 mph time of about 4 seconds.

autoevolution will be attending the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
