The 2014 Corvette Stingray is on its way to the market, being scheduled to arrive in showrooms across the US late this summer, but not all Chevy dealers will be able to sell the new halo model.
General Motors will only select dealers who meet a certain sales target for offering the new ‘Vette - to be eligible, a dealer has to show that it has sold at least 4 units of the Corvette in 2012.
This means that the majority of the small Chevrolet dealers won’t be able to get a C7 Corvette in the showroom. As you can imagine, every dealer wanted to have one in the showroom, as this is the kind of cars that brings all sorts of customers in, regardless of the vehicles these people end up buying afterwards.
