The 2014 Corvette Stingray is still a fresh product coming out of the Detroit owen, but it seems that General Motors is already cooking something extra for us. The C7 Corvette is expected to receive its previously-rendered convertible model at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
GM reportedly chose an European event to release the car as it aims to increase the exports of the ‘Vette with the 7th generation. The company’s engineers made sure that the C7 would have all the necessary assets to be competitive on the European market and now GM wants to make sure the customers get in touch with the car.
We’ll remind you that the C6 Corvette also received its convertible model at the Geneva Motor Show, in March 2004, so this is already becoming a tradition.
The details about the Corvette Stingray convertible are limited at the moment, but previous spyshots have shown the car wearing a canvas roof. The tech side of the vehicle should be carried over from the coupe.
