Chevrolet has announced that the 2014 Camaro Z/28 will go on sale this spring with a starting price set at $75,000. The sticker includes the $995 destination and handling fee and the gas-guzzler tax, but excludes tax, title, license and dealer fees.
The 2014 Camaro Z/28 will be launched in five exterior colors - Red Hot, Black, Silver Ice Metallic, Ashen Gray Metallic and Summit White - and only one single option which adds air conditioning and six audio speakers at $1,150.
As a brief reminder, the brand new musclecar is powered by a naturally-aspirated 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine that sends 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
The Z/28 rolls on 19-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tires and features Brembo Carbon Ceramic Matrix rotors and fixed, monoblock rotors. Interior highlights include Recaro seats with microfiber inserts, a flat-bottom steering wheel.
