If you’re looking to get your hands on a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro and you’re not quite happy with the nine exterior colors the manufacturer offered so far, then you should know that the pony car can now be ordered in the brand new Deep Magenta Metallic hue.
Borrowed from the 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, a vehicle that got it as a limited edition color from August through December 2013, the Deep Magenta Metallic was showcased on the Camaro earlier this year and introduced as a $395 option.
John Fitzpatrick, Chevrolet’s marketing manager for performance cars said the new color will be the perfect choice for people “who want to stand out”. If you ask us, he’s spot on, but we also think it’s up to current or potential Camaro owners to voice their opinions.
With that in mind, the Deep Magenta Metallic can now be “sprayed” on the 2014 Camaro using the car’s online configurator or viewed in our photo gallery section below. There you will find a few digitally-rendered pictures provided by Chevy, as well as the first real life images of the new Magenta Camaro, which were provided by Camaro5.com.
If a $395 color option seems to expensive (note that Mercedes’ Designo colors cost at least $2,000), you can always turn to any of the other shades that are available on the 2014 Camaro, including the Red Rock Metallic, Blue Ray Metallic, Bright Yellow or Crystal Red Tintcoat.
