Having a cult following means people are very passionate about everything you make, which is both a bad and a good thing, depending how you look at it. With so many years of uninterrupted awesomeness, few car are as popular in the US as the Camaro, and now, there's a new one, which is bound to have its fair share of critics.
The 2014 Camaro was announced last week and is scheduled to make its official debut tomorrow at the New York Auto Show, but the hotly anticipated muscle car has been revealed on the "Live Show with Kelly & Michael", which is doing doing coverage of the auto show.

The screenshots taken by a Camaro5 forum member shows show the Camaro SS model. The biggest change at the front is the introduction of a slimmer upper grille, refreshed headlights and a huge heat extractor on the hood. The lower air intake has grown the SS hos something of the ZL1 about it.

Some people say it looks like a Mustang, others that it looks like a it's an angry Asian guy. All we know is they have changed the taillights too much and the interior too little.

According to the show, the 2014 Camaro lineup includes:

  • The 323-horsepower (241 kW) V-6-powered LS coupe and LT coupe and convertible – including the 2LS with an EPA-rated 30 mpg on the highway,
  • The Camaro SS coupe and convertible, with a 6.2L V-8 delivering up to 426 horsepower (318 kW), The 580-horsepower (432 kW) supercharged Camaro ZL1 coupe and convertible.
If that proves to be true, than the perforance upgrade announced by GM can only be that monster 7-liter engine we keep hearing about.
