Chevrolet has announced the introduction of a special edition version of its Agile hatchback for the Central and South American markets.
Called Agile Effect, the special edition subcompact is based on the range-topping LTZ trim level and features sporty front and rear bumpers, a roof-top spoiler, tinted headlamps, black mirrors, 16-inch alloy “graphite-look” wheels, black side stripe and “Effect” decals.
Interior enhancements include red accents for the seats, door panels and a flat-bottom sport steering wheel. Under the hood, the Agile Effect will receive the same 1.4-liter flex-fuel engine that delivers 92 horsepower. The hatchback will also feature segment-exclusive cruise control and automatic lights.
Available in Summit White and Red Chili exterior colors, the 2014 Chevrolet Agile Effect will start at $123,000 Argentine pesos, nearly $18,000 at current exchange rates.
