After the 2014 Cadillac CTS made its debut with a brand new 420-horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine earlier this year, another one of their models is now getting the same powerplant. We're talking about the 2014MY XTS sedan.
The XTS 3.6-liter twin-turbo puts out 410-horsepower and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque, making it 10 hp and 61 lb-ft (82 Nm) less powerful than what the CTS.
Still, anything over 400-hp is icing on the cake, since the XTS also gets a host of new features, including available Automatic Parking Assist and Intellibeam, front seats with memory buttons and a sunroof sunshade.
Small cosmetic changes meant to set the twin-turbo apart have been made, including “Twin-Turbo” grille and deck lid. As for the rest of the XTS range, all modes now come standard with illuminated door handles.
