General Motors has released preliminary pricing information for its all-new 2014 Cadillac CTS. Set to arrive in dealerships this fall, the new CTS has a starting price of $46,025, including the $925 destination fee.
For that kind of money, you’ll be able to order the entry-level version that’s powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 272 HP. While pricing for the naturally-aspirated 3.6-liter V6 version has yet to be revealed, the US automaker announced that the CTS V Sport can be had for at least $59,995.
As a reminder, the range-topping CTS boasts a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 mill that delivers 420 HP. All that power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The V Sport also comes with an electronic limited slip differential. Both the 2.0-liter and the 3.6-liter variants are will become available with three option packages: Luxury, Performance and Premium.
“CTS has always been Cadillac’s centerpiece, and as our brand expands and elevates the car properly grows to its true place” said David Leone, CTS executive chief engineer. “With last year’s addition of the award-winning ATS compact luxury sedan, CTS will directly challenge the luxury midsize competition with uncompromised performance, luxury and technology.”
