It wasn’t only the BMW i3 from the Bavarians’ line-up that received an award from Auto Zeitung this week. Their new BMW X5 was also praised by their 103,000 voters, in the SUV over EUR30,000 category.
The winners were announced yesterday at a festive ceremony held at the ‘Classic Remise’ in Dusseldorf, where BMW’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Dr. Ian Robertson and Dr. Herbert Diess, Director of Development at BMW AG were on the scene to receive the awards.
With this new award, the new X5 is proving to be very successful and well received by the audience, alongside the new i3, both of them winning other awards too like the ones from Auto Bild.
Furthermore, this award allows the F15 model to keep the tradition going, as its predecessor, the E70 model, was also a winner of the coveted prize, back in the day.
