The 2014 BMW X5 will arrive with three engine options available, a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline-six for the X5 xDrive35i and the first rear-wheel drive version called the sDrive35i, a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 making 450 hp in the X5 xDrive50i and a 3-liter diesel for the xDrive35d. Later on, the first four-cylinder engine will be offer in the form of the X5 xDrive25d.

In short, the German company’s new F15 X5 sports a redesigned front end, restyled wheel arches and an aerodynamically enhanced body. The familiar interior has become more spacious thanks to the vehicle’s increased dimensions, gaining both passenger room and a larger boot.

Several technology updates were also fitted to BMW’s latest iteration of the X5, with the company’s ConnectedDrive now including Head-Up Display with full spectrum of colors, Night Vision with human and animal detection and Dynamic Light Spot, Lane Change Warning, Collision and Pedestrian Warning.

Pricing for the 2014 BMW X5 have yet to be revealed, but we’ll be right back as soon as the German company spills the beans.
