When we picked up the 2014 BMW X5 M50d we were impressed with the way it looked. Compared to the previous model, this version presented itself in a more commanding manner, demanding respect but turned out to be more playful than we expected on the road, as you can see in the following images.
The interior of the new X5 looks very much like all the current models, but it’s so well designed that you won’t mind. You’ll find everything you need at the reach of your fingertips, in a very carefully planned position, so that’s also intuitive and easy to use. Alcantara is always welcome too.
Around the city, the car’s impressive size won’t bother you too much, thanks to the wide windshield and perfectly balanced steering, whilst off-roading isn’t really recommended. It’s really a shame to soil that perfect white paint.
