On the dawn of the Essen Motor Show 2013, BMW wants to showcase its new M Performance Parts. We’ve already seen the goodies for the 2 Series and now it’s time to talk about the F15 X5.
As far as the performance is concerned, there’s an ECU remap that takes the X5 xDrive 35i to 330 PS and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft), offering an extra 20 PS and 50 Nm. There’s also a silencer kit that changes the sound of the powerplant in the Sport mode.
There’s also a BMW M Performance brake system with blue calipers, as well as 21-inch wheels in a two-tone finish. The exterior package includes a black kidney grille, a front splitter, carbon fiber mirror caps, a diffuser element for the rear bumper, as well as M Performance side sill foils.
The cabin of the 2014 BMW X5 is gifted with a new steering wheel, a carbon fiber gear lever, steel pedals and branded floor mats.
