After long months of waiting and despair for all those roadster fans out there, BMW Motorrad finally took the veils off the naked version of the S 1000 RR, dubbed S 1000 R.
Compared to its superbike brother, the naked version looks even more hardcore, just as it very well should. Furthermore, the bike doesn't just talk the talk, it also walks the walk, having a 160 HP engine with 112 Nm (83 lb-ft) of torque, delivering more torque in the lower RPM range than its brother, thus making it a more street-oriented machine.
Standard features include the Automatic Stability Control (ASC), race ABS and dual riding modes whilst the Dynamic suspension comes as an optional feature.
Unfortunately, BMW didn't also release a price tag but we're already sold, as the 207 kg (457 lbs) bike looks absolutely amazing, and will probably look even better once customers start making it their own.
In the mean time, you can enjoy the huge photo gallery posted below and check out the press release in the dedicate section, if you need any more info.
