It looks like this year is the last one for the classic R1200 boxer engine, with the awaited and teased NineT being the last bike to feature the acclaimed power plant . This means that we're entering a new BMW era, with all the machines which used the old 1200 boxer receiving the new liquid-cooled version.
And since BMW's roadsters have always looked cool, imagine how cool will Wunderlich's custom ones. Taking a peek into the future, here's Nicolas Petit's take on a potential future R1200R machine we might be getting next year from Wunderlich.

Bringing new and more stylish lines for this truly sweet street bike, Petit makes good use of a more edgy approach BMW has with the new R1200GS. Not sure how appealing will the mini front cowl to most of the riders, but the other two designs are as evil as it gets.

The compact exhaust adds even a more menacing attire to the bike, and we really hope that either BMW or Wunderlich go for a more aggressive, edgy line for their new roadsters.
