A while back we told you about the LCI M5 and its Competition Package, that will be available starting with next year. However, according to Car and Driver Magazine, one of their inside sources said that the same package will be available on all M6 models too.
That means that the future M6 Coupe, Cabriolet and Gran Coupe will be offered with a more powerful engine and some other tweaks. Amongst these tweaks you'll find new wheels, new suspension (for better handling), a more direct steering ratio and black exhaust tips.
The 15 HP power increase and the weight reduction will allow the ZCP cars to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) 0.1 seconds faster whilst the top speed will remain limited to 190 mph (305 km/h).
With 575 HP under their bonnets, the new M5s and M6s are closer and closer to the competition's E63 AMG S (which has 585 HP) and further in front of Audi's RS7 (that has 560 HP).
