Launched with a lot of bang at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe impressed everyone out there. The guys from MotorAuthority were included.

Reading their conclusions on the big, 4-door coupe M car will fill your head with metaphors and epithets that are meant to provide a good idea of just how awesome this car is, especially on a track like the Texan one.

The symphony brought about by the 4.4-liter V8 under the bonnet and its adjacent 560 HP and 501 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque will make you skin shiver in anticipation of that famous explosion of feelings that will hit you once the acceleration pedal goes down.

The car is big and heavy but aside of the noise coming from the tires, nothing will make you feel it. The chassis was so perfectly reshaped that it makes you think about why you’re punishing the car so much and she doesn’t even squirm.

Bottom line, it’s been a while since BMW released such a good car, even for the M division and that should be celebrated accordingly.
