Henry Catchpole went to Las Vegas on behalf of the Evo crew to see if the M235i lives up to the expectations the market and enthusiasts have from it.
Since Evo is one of our favorite magazines and Henry had the chance to test the M135i for a long term, his opinion really should matter as the new Coupe will surely be compared to its hatch brother.
The 2er delivers exactly what was promised. When pushed to the max, there’s less roll and more grip than in its predecessor and that’s all you need. Combine these with the brilliant 326 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque engine and you get yourself a really nice ride for all those entertaining drives you’ve been waiting for.
The best thing about this car (as you’ll find out from his full review) is its pricing. In that vicinity you simply don’t have that many choices and this little M Performance vehicle will deliver every bit of joy you can hope for.
