Finally, the big moment has arrived. After selling over 1 million units of the F10 5 Series from its launch, BMW finally unveiled the LCI version of the most popular sports saloon in the world.
Design wise, little has changed, as we all expected. However, all the subtle changes done here and there really bring out more sportiveness out of the 5er, which is definitely a plus.

As speculated from the first time we layer our eyes on the first batch of spyshots, the headlights have been subtly reshaped, now sporting a sleeker look. The new model will have xenon bulbs installed as standard on all cars while Adaptive LED Headlights will also be introduced alongside similar fog lights.

Starting with MY2014, the side indicator light will be integrated into the exterior mirrors, while 2 new Lines will be introduced (Luxury and Modern) with additional exclusive equipment and features.

Going inside you'll find new details that further emphasize the premium character of the 5er. Chrome trims now border the Control Display of the iDrive system that will be standard as well.

Other new features include the automatic, hands free boot lid, the Harman Kardon entertainment system for the rear seats with tablet-style displays alongside a powerful sound system and a new version of the ambient light option that will allow users to change colors between orange and white.

The BMW ConnectedDrive will be updated and now has more business and driver oriented systems than ever. The Concierge Service, for example, is globally unrivaled for hotel reservations and a selection of other services.

The touch-sensitive surface of the iDrive controller allows you to use characters to program in a destination or access other functions of the in-car system. Furthermore, the LCI 5er will also have the glare-free High Beam Assistant and the Night VIsion system for human and animal detection.

Overall, we're pretty excited to get our hands on the new Bimmer but we're still glad that we finally get to see the production version of the refreshed BMW F10 5 Series.
