Noise is probably the very last thing you need when hunting, and Bad Boy Buggies knows this only too well. So that's how the 2014 Ambush iS was born, a hybrid quad for hunting and other purposes involving wildlife (or death, for what's worth) and in a dire need for silent mobility.
The 2014 Bad Boy Buggies Ambush iS offers three operating modes: rear-wheel-drive 2WD gas, front-wheel-drive 2WD electric, and 4WD with both gas and electric powertrains engaged, for the ultimate versatility.
A 720cc injected Subaru engine delivers 28 HP aided by a 48-volt electric drivetrain upgraded with AC Drive for extended range. The Regen Mode recharges the batteries using the revolution of the front axle, and sometimes, this energy can exceed that of the battery charger.
Add in individual suspensions, locking differentials, a 6-unit battery array and smart weight distribution for excellent terrainability. The 2014 bad Boy Buggies Ambush iS will be available in two versions: a two-up model with cargo bed and a4-seater with a rear-facing back seat. Lots of throwing up from the rear passengers probably take into account.
