Audi's first generation A3 Cabriolet was quite popular in Britain, and so they are more than pleased to announce pricing for the new model, which will be ready for deliveries in April 2014. Audi's new compact convertible is finally ready to receive right-hand drive.
The 2013 A3 Cabriolet was revealed ahead of September's Frankfurt Motor Show and entered production in Hungary the month after that. In Britain, prices will start form £25,790 for the basic SE model equipped with a 140 PS 1.4 TFSI engine.
It's a new generation engine from the EA211 family which is more efficient than the old 122 PS buy yet also more efficient thanks to Cylinder on Demand (COD) technology. The other petrol engine is the 1.8 TFSI with 180 PS available from £30,270 from Sport trim and up.
If diesel is your cup of tea, your only choice right now is a 2.0 TDI with 150 PS and 380 Nm from £27,240 in SE.
