2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Original Pictures

Aston Martin is very proud of its 2014 Vanquish. They’re calling it the best Aston in history and we recently grabbed the crystal key to put that to the test. Here the Vanquish was working its Grand Tourer charms on us, offering a relaxing drive in the company of the 12-cylinder choir.

Atop of the 2014 Vanquish’s rear side, sits what Aston calls the Aero Duct - looks like they’ve found a way to fit a pretty massive aerodynamic element that increases the car’s beauty instead of denting it like most of these things do.

For stopping power, this Aston turns to Brembo’s third-generation Carbon Ceramic Matrix. While the stopping power itself is over the top, we were even more impressed with the modulation, which is perfect for road use. These are hidden behind 20-inch wheels.

Aston Martin has had a bespoke sewing machine built for them. This takes care of the mesmerizing patterns you see here on the seats. Moving further into the cabin of the Vanquish, we find elements inspired from the One-77, such as the steering wheel. You can take a look inside this GT yourself in the Full HD photo Gallery of our 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish test drive.
