Acura has revealed pricing information for the 2014 TL "performance-oriented sport sedan", which can now be ordered starting from $36,030.
The Acura TL model line is carried over from the 2013 model year and offers the same eight versions, in either front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configuration. The 2014 TL can be had with three upgrade packages - Special Edition, Technology, Advance - that offer a number of different features.
The TL Special Edition features exclusive 10-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, color-matched decklid spoiler and Special Edition badging, while the TL SH-AWD comes with the company's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. All models are fitted with a Sequential SportShift 6-speed automatic transmission, but the TL SH-AWD with Technology Package is also available with a close-ratio 6-speed manual as a no-cost option.
The 2014 TL is available with two engine choices, the standard 3.5-liter V6 (280 HP / 254 lb-ft of torque) and the more powerful 3.7-liter V6 (305 HP / 273 lb-ft of torque) for the SH-AWD versions.
