Honda’s premium division Acura has announced official US pricing for the 2014 model year RDX compact crossover, which will start from $34,520 plus $895 for destination and handling.
The model was launched as an all-new model in January 2012 at the Detroit Auto Show. It features a fresh design and is powered by Honda’s 273-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. It comes standard with front-wheel drive but can be fitted with optional AWD for an extra $1,400, but this will cut your mileage by 1 mpg all-round.
Standard features on the 2014 RDX include leather seating surfaces, heated power front seats, a power moonroof and a 360-watt audio system, Pandora internet radio interface, an SMS text messaging function, a Keyless Access System with pushbutton start, an Active Noise Control system and a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera.
If you want your RDX to be a little bit better equipped, you can opt for the $3,700 Technology Package, which gets you 60GB hard drive, bi-xenon HID headlights, fog lights, a powered tailgate and the Acura/ELS Surround Premium Sound System.
