Waking up every morning in the middle of the city and going to the office doesn’t quite help you when you get lost in the woods. However, we’ve recently found a car that does just that, but can prove pretty helpful out in the wild - the 2013 Volvo V40 Cross Country.
We drove the Volvo V40 Cross Country T5 AWD and this proved to be one of the most versatile creatures we’ve played with this year.

We’re inside the city now and the car is perfectly adapted to the crazy traffic, but it does offer a feeling of premium, somehow isolating you from all the rush outside.

And if you’re in a hurry, you obviously... wait until you exit the city and then you can nail it and let the 254 horses do their job. You’ll get the acceleration of a hot hatch, but the way in which is delivered is pretty different.

We’ll talk about this, as well as about the way in which the car deals with the mud and sand, in our 2013 Volvo V40 Cross Country test drive.
