The awaited Toyota Vios has been officially launched on the Malaysian market, with a starting price at RM73,200.
The 2013 Toyota Vios is available in five trim levels - J (manual), J (auto), E (auto), G (auto) and TRD Sportivo (auto) - all of them powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder VVT-i engine making 109 PS and 141 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a four-speed automatic gearbox with Super ECT or a five-speed manual one.
The shape of the new Vios has been revamped to reduce its drag coefficient from 0.29 to 0.28, through a more streamlined silhouette and door mirrors.
