The 2013 Toyota RAV4 has been thoroughly redesigned to offer more of a “recreational activity vehicle.”
Recently reviewed by Driving.ca, the new RAV4 AWD Limited proved to have left its boring past behind. Its exterior is more eye-catching, with sweeping lines, raised and sculpted headlights and you can also see that the tailgate-mounted spare wheel is gone now, leaving the hatch to open upwards.
Inside, the dashboard has been restyled, receiving more upscale materials, a unique instrument cluster, LCD touchscreen on the central console and HVAC control knobs.
However, the reviewers found the new RAV4 fitted with the 2.5-liter inline-four modest-powered and a little down on torque. Also, they said that things get a bit too crowded when trying to fit three adults in the back seats.
